July 2023 - Per Erik Bergh (CEO and Managing Director), Sandy Davies (Technical Director) attended the 7th Global Fisheries Enforcement Training Workshop (GFETW) was hosted by the IMCS Network in partnership with Fisheries and Oceans Canada in Halifax, Nova Scotia from 31 July to 4 August 2023. The workshop's central theme was "Moving from Words to Action - Innovative Collaborative Partnerships to Combat Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated Fishing," acknowledging the urgent need for the global community to take immediate, strong and sustainable action to protect the oceans.
The workshop featured presentations by Per Erik Bergh and Sandy Davies based on their work in fisheries MCS across Africa.
