Nordenfjeldske Development Services (NFDS) is a Norwegian consultancy company that works in the areas of fisheries, natural resource management, policy and planning.  NFDS has over 20 years of international experience co-operating with many developing country governments and international cooperating partners.  In 2003 we opened a regional office in Gaborone, Botswana to assist us in managing our increasing African portfolio of projects. 

We focus on providing solutions to the challenges faced by developed and developing countries. By successfully building on our clients’ ideas and by working together in equitable partnerships using integrated approaches, we turn these ideas into realistic answers.  The NFDS team through their multidisciplinary skills and international experience offers quality, robust and flexible approaches to ensure lasting solutions. 

NFDS offers a variety of services related to natural resource management.  Our experience is based on a long history managing and implementing various size projects, mainly in the developing world.
